23rd Annual Pumpkin Weigh-off Results

The Windsor~West Hants Pumpkin Festival Committee is pleased to welcome the
New England Sports Network
to the 9th Annual Pumpkin Regatta on October 14, 2007.

Paddling in the Regatta will be former Boston Bruin players, Bob Sweeney and Cleon Daskalakis.  Bob went to Boston College and Cleon attended Boston University.  The challenge is on!  Who will be the first to get their PVC (personal vegetable craft) across Lake Pesaquid?  Will they take the title away from Leo Swinimer Sr.?  Stay tuned...

Congratulations to Jeff Reid of Waterville
Congratulations to Jeff Reid of Waterville, Nova Scotia.  His pumpkin weighed in at a hefty 1202 pounds at the 23rd annual pumpkin regatta.  Windsor competes against 57 other weigh-off sites around the globe. Special thanks to the pumpkin lifters who had to lift that mighty gourd.
